How to not spend Christmas Night

Child #3 has had a lovely cough for the past couple of days. After a wonderful day of presents, both Grandmas being here and a tasty meal it was bedtime.

Child #3 wasn't feeling up to par and started to complain that his ear hurt. None of the ear drops I had made if feel better so off to the ER we go since MeMa (my mom) was staying the night and I could leave the other three kids to sleep.

Since we are in the middle of Flu Season here, he got to wear a face mask to keep from spreading his coughy germs. He thought it was kind of neat. It had Mickey Mouse on it too.

Yep, slight ear infection. We'd like a script for the numbing ear drops please. Thank you very much... honestly the only reason we went to the ER was to get that script, not the antibiotics.

Only took about 45 minutes too. I love our ER. Its close and quick.

Its SNOWING!!!

Yes it does snow in Central Texas Virgina.

Okay so it wasn't a ton and we only had a slight accumulation which didn't last very long but it was snow.

Mostly of the pictures didn't come out and you can't really see the snow but at least I got one of Child #4 first real snow. Okay so she was 6 months old when we had the "Ice Storm" of 2007 and she doesn't remember it but I think she'll remember this.

It wasn't expected to snow until early afternoon but I kept the kids home from school since I didn't know if they would get to play in it at school. I didn't want them to miss it.

Next year we really need to take the kids to some big snow. They will love it.
